However, if your car fails its MOT and you choose for us to rectify the issues, we'll still work diligently to return your car as quickly as possible. In most cases all parts such as brakes, tyres, bulbs etc are readily available for same day service. However there may be harder reaching or specific parts to be delivered, which is beyond our control. You will have the option to rebook for another day or leave the car with us for next day return. If your vehicle happens to fail and you do not wish for us to carry out the repairs, That's fine! You have 10 working days to repair your car elsewhere. Once repaired, make an appointment with us to present your car to the initial MOT testing station (Monday-Friday) for your free re-test.

Dangerous Defects: These are the ones you can't ignore. A dangerous defect means your car is not roadworthy, and it's illegal to drive it on the road, even to or from an MOT test. These defects must be fixed before you hit the road again. Major Defects: While major defects will also lead to an MOT fail, they don't render your vehicle unroadworthy. If your current MOT certificate is still valid and there are no dangerous defects, you can drive it away to get it fixed. Both 'Dangerous' and 'Major' defects are graded as Red on your report.
